The Arty Crowd launches as Hamilton’s online hub for artists and art lovers

The Hamilton Arts Council has just launched The Arty Crowd, a brand new digital hub that connects Hamilton artists with audiences and arts opportunities. Check out the website at theartycrowd.ca

If you’re an artist, you can sign up on the site for free. Hamilton Arts Council will promote your events to their 25,000 followers across their social media platforms. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with other artists looking to collaborate. There are employment opportunities for artists, as well as commissions, and calls for submissions.

The Arty Crowd features a landing page for The Crowd, a place for artists and arts organizations to showcase their profiles and their work. Check out Tim Ninehouse on the site and his fantastic work, like this incredible mural he created for Edu Deo in Barton Village.

Arts organizations are encouraged to join The Crowd and to share their upcoming events, and opportunities for artists. Audiences looking for events will be able to find everything from theatre, dance, art exhibitions to music concerts, all in one handy website.
