Social Media for Artists and Creative Industries: Free Session on Nov.4

Hamilton artists and creative industry business owners are in luck this fall, with the launch a series of free professional development sessions designed for those making a living in the arts. Presented by the Hamilton Arts Council in partnership with the City of Hamilton’s Tourism and Culture Division. the series features local experts teaching a variety of skills, tailored for those in the creative industry.

On November 4th, I’ll be leading a session on social media management for artists and creatives. The session is free to join, it’s virtual, and there will be time to ask the questions that may have been hindering you in your social media strategy. Some of the topics I’ll be covering:

  • What social media platforms should I be using?
  • How do I become visible and searchable?
  • Personal vs. Business accounts – which are better?
  • Are paid posts worth it?

Check out the Hamilton Arts Council website for a full listing of the series which runs from October to December, covering topics like building professional networks, grant writing, and sponsorship development.
